Does anyone know who scored the quickest ever goal by a Grimsby Town player through the years home or away (Confused)

If anyone springs to mind any idea of quick goals in a  minute or less by a Grimsby Town player as well would be handy. (book3)

John Cockerill scored a very quick goal at home against Reading probably early 90's

I remember us scoring at Carlisle after 18 seconds during Buckley Mark 1 and going on to lose 2-1.

Joe Waters scored after 10 seconds at home to Cambridge in the '80's. As far as I know that's the earliest goal scored by a Town player.

Yeah, didn't we end up winning 2-0?

I don't know why and I might be wrong, but I always thought it was 6 seconds?

Matt Tees scored after 8 secs in a pre-season friendly v Leicester.
It was on his début, but as it was a friendly probably does not qualify in official records.
The match was early 1960's I think.

Rob Duffy probably scored the fastest GTFC debut goal, at Eastbourne.

I might be miles out with the time in my memory, but didn't Hegarty score after about 30 seconds in Newell's first game in charge - against Wycombe?

Ross Hannah at Woking away was pretty quick when Disley scored in the last minute to make it 2-1.  Saying that I was hammered and late getting into the ground.  :-/

Was it Nathan Pond who scored early on against Dover in a 1-0 win? I was slightly late into the ground, missed the goal and watched a 0-0 draw but came away with 3 points

Duffys debut goal was definitely at Eastbourne after 30 seconds. We ended up winning the game 3-2 thanks to Alan Connell's audacious chip from a narrow angle late on.

'kinnel how the memory goes. They (players)'re all merging into one. I was at both games so I should have remembered!

Thinking back now I remember Duffy's tap in. And Connell's late one. Eastbourne woz robbed if I remember rightly.

I should change my name to Pete.  ;)

Duffy's goal was a shot from just inside the box. (That's what I remember anyway)
