We've just signed him. Ex-Grimsby Town I believe. Is he any good?

His name brings to mind a sly, scheming cad-like character from Downton Abbey, other than that..not heard of him.

I'm just going off the Scarborough News website which says "Boro have also signed former Grimsby Town defender Jacob Norburn, who has just returned from a spell in Italy with Benevento". I'm surprised nobody on here has heard of him.

GRIMSBY Town's Youth team continue their pre-season programme tomorrow with a match at Oldham Athletic.

Adam Smith's youngsters were beaten 2-0 at Boston Town on Wednesday night.

However, the hosts' experience told after the break as Boston – including former Mariners striker Liam Nimmo – scored twice in the second period.

Town's squad included two Under-16 players – Jack Pearson and Jacob Norburn.
