I believe that's where the problem lies.  A bit like Moysey going to Manure. Managing a club steeped in success and history is always a difficult ask.  When you get it right, it's brilliant.  But the hangers are going to be so demanding that the pressure is on from the start.  They would be expecting to reach at least round 1 of the FA Cup and a finish above the bottom 10 of league two. I'm sure the crowds would be pushing 3000+ once the success comes back.  Not sure if I really do believe the rumours about them tempting Fergie out of retirement, but surely he must be tempted ?? !

Maybe explains why they've been able to prise players like Magnay, Podge and Toto away from us. I know the debt HMRC are having is likely to be older, but they've probably been spending money they haven't got.

(Yes, I know we did too).

Not a wind up, going by that article. The winding up might not happen, if you believe what Gary Coxall said, but it isn't a wind-up.

Seems Dave Jones, who was interviewed by Town, has been appointed chief monkey hanger!

I know it's irrelevant now but who else was interviewed, Cloudy?

Paul Cox, Danny Cowley, Robbie Stockdale?

Jones has been out of the game so long he probably pad them to get the job, all that said he's a decent manager at their level.
