I'd quite like to know what is going on with Vose. He's by far our best midfielder and apparently fit enough to play for the reserves yet Bignot isn't even picking him in the matchday squad (do we really need three defenders on the bench?). I just can't understand how mistake prone cloggers like Berrett and Summerfield are getting into the team ahead of him.
Posted by: Hagrid, November 19, 2016, 2:16pm; Reply: 2
Dont like seeing our own players slagged off as "cloggers"'but cant fathom why we have 3 CBs on the bench when 2 of them have barely kicked a ball this season. Browne and definately Vose very unlucky to not in the team
Posted by: Meza, November 19, 2016, 2:18pm; Reply: 3
Its because he's a luxury player....and not one that puts the work rate in....however u need a mixture and inprefer Summerfield over berret and Vose over berret.

Lets see what happens

No point going all out at a place like Plymouth who are going well . Stay solid , stay in the game and maybe snatch a goal or two on the counter , job done

Maybe Jones/Boyce have told the manager they're speedy wingers... Ridiculous having 3 centre halfs on the bench.
Posted by: Meza, November 19, 2016, 2:36pm; Reply: 9
Lazy....like Sweeney....one that comes alive with the ball but not without it.

Im more thinking about training.  You get those players that put the work in training and in matches and you get those that dont look interested in training and may get overlooked.  Im not questioning his ability.

Wheres henderson, browne and vose. ???  Not many attacking options if we are chasing the game!!

He didn't play a single game since Hurst's last game and we've not even had any news on him being injured so it's odd, he's clearly still with us since he turned up for the reserves and an unused sub at the cup game so why isn't he getting in the team? Bignot talked about giving players a chance but he already seems to have his team lol.

I'm a little unnerved by that line up, especially the subs bench..

Berrett must train well?

Three centre halves on an unbalanced bench especially Calamity Boyce?

No Vose and Browne in our best eighteen, don't get it..

Massive message sent to the rest of the Division.  If we can be consistent in terms of this performance and result then anything can be achieved this season.

Absolute praise for all the 335 travelling fans - God knows how many will then go up to Carlisle on Tuesday night, but I hope that Town keep up their quality of play for every deserving fan on the road !!

I'm sure that there may have to be some changes for tired feet on Tuesday, but the squad will just have to prove they deserve a starting place on today's form.

I hope the back four stays fit as they are getting tighter by the game, silly penailties apart, of course !!

Awesome Town, awesome!
All done by being positive and playing to our strengths and not worrying about what the opposition have.
So happy Hurstball is now gone and forgotten forever!

Superb result. Not many predicted that today and we would have taken a draw at 3pm. Absolutely brilliant.

Fully believe that MB will set the team up to play to Bogle's strengths. Buzzing this evening!!

Blimey, what a result! I honestly thought that it would take Marcus a few games to get us organised and playing with belief again. Now, of course, I regret not making the trip today-I had worked through the train timetable (not too bad at £66 return) and the walking distance across the park to the ground-but then saw the ghastly weather forecast for today! Still, I have my rail ticket for Tuesday and a hotel booked for overnight in Cleethorpes, so I just hope the team can carry on the momentum from a truly amazing result today. Congrats to the team, management and the remarkable fans who made the epic trip to the west country!

70th minute 2-0 up away to the league leaders and Tom Bolarinwa comes on as substitute for Ashley Chambers, this shows a refreshing change in mindset from our previous manager.

I have the feeling "us" would have settled for the 0-0  let alone the 1-0 or the 2-0 and made substitutions to match the ambition. ;)

Just listened back to MB's interview after hearing it on the radio earlier. Just wanted to listen to a certain part of it back again.

Have I misheard or misunderstood him, or does he say that during this week in training he hasn't felt like there's been a drive and determination from some people to force their way into the team?

Yeah, i've not listened back but it sounded like he implied there was 1 day of training this week where either everyone, or certain individuals (i'm not entirely sure which) weren't up to the standard he wanted. Great that if that was the case he's still managed to get us firing on all cylinders to beat the league leaders 3-0 away!

Loved the burst of pace from tombola for the third goal . No wonder the Plymouth keeper bottled it faced by gtfcs version of usain bolt steaming in

Certain individuals didn't impress in training - Left at home 🏡- now upto them to impress MB and force their way back in. That's how I interpreted it anyway. 🐺

Biggie saying all the right things again in the post-match interview. Convincingly too. Not a script.

Vose, Browne, Tuton. Left out all together, not surprised by Tuton and haven't got a clue about Browne and again not surprised by Vose's exclusion but because he doesn't exactly work his socks off in games unlike Tuton who's just ineffective. He looked really good at Notts County and then by all accounts at Luton but after that he's looked hopeless.

That report is pitiful and bears little resemblance to the game I and many others from both Plymouth and GTFC saw. Shame they can be so blind especially when on the day so many of the Plymouth fans were praiseworthy of The Mariners in defeat
