Anybody booked the train for Bolton? Going on the 7:24 to Manchester and intend on having a good session around Manchester before getting the train from Victoria to Horwich.

Middlesbrough are playing ManCity and with past history the pubs in Manchester are very strict with groups of fans.

We'll prob head to Horwich town its self as there are a good few bars away from the ground and is still walkable if the weather is decent.  Avoid Bolton as its miles away

I think we'll milk Manchester for a long as we can then head to Horwich then. Are you on the train as well Si?

Bit of bad news, the 7.24, and the next 4 trains after have been made dry trains due to the expectation of trouble from Doncaster "fans" getting on that train and heading to Oldham via Manchester Piccadilly.

If anyone is thinking about this and you are over 55 you can get a day return Grimsby to Piccadilly for £19 and then Manchester Vic to Horwich for £4.90 saving over £20.00 on the Trainline price via their deal Club 55. Have to get your Gy to Piccadilly tickets through TPE website or from Cleethorpes/Grimsby stations.
