Not exactly sure but the usual route to the south-west is A180/M180/M18/M1S/M42/M5. Can't see them going down the A1. Do you want/need me to ask him?

Yep, on the 10. 20 from Waterloo.  Splashed out the extra £2 and in first class. It's great not having BT sports intercourse everything up when you book in advance

We went 1st class from Clapham Junction to Exeter on South West Trains. You don't even get a reserved seat!

Thankfully there were some free but it's not like First Class on Virgin East Coast where you get free food and drink, you get nowt.

You even have to walk through the plebs in the same carriage in standard class to get to the bog.  ;D
