Senior Tickets.
Hi Bax perhaps you can answer this I notice both Wycombe and Notts County make their senior tickets available to 60 + whilst we don't classify anybody as a senior until 65 is there a league policy re the age one qualifies as a senior and is the club penny pinching again.

Just noticed Blackpool classify those over 60 as seniors.

This was the case at Wembley a few years ago when we played
MK Dons in the final.
Our 60 to 65 year-olds were charged the full price price whilst
their's were only paying the concessionary price.
So this is nothing new. Presumably Grimsby and Cleethorpes have
more than their share of wealthy OAP's.

Do you think that if we wrote a letter they would give us a retrospective 5 year refund, including cup games it would only be about £800 each { + interest } :) :)

The thing is that the majority of established league clubs I believe treat 60+ as senior and we and a handful of other clubs don't ,surely you can see the incongruity of this.

I'd have thought that we'll be seeing the re-definition of 'senior' back in line with our 65 rather than the other way round. Especially in more prosperous areas where people live longer (and have to work longer in order to earn a pension).

Give over in the Public Sector it is rare to see anyone working over 55 and it is not always from choice.

A quick google search for football league ticket rules brings their conditions of issue which make no specific mention of ages for any concession. I assume that makes it a per club decision based on how they define 'senior'. Just google 'senior ticket prices football games' and the majority of the clubs on the first page class senior as 65+ so I may suggest that the club are in the majority here.
