It started with a missed penalty kick...and ended with some of the best scenes in living memory. Now the Mariners Trust is to release a DVD of last season’s fantastic promotion campaign.
Operation Promoted is the story of how fans and club united in the face of adversity, turning John-Paul Pittman's penalty miss into the story of the summer as supporters came together to raise £110,000. In turn, the players and management did their bit on the pitch resulting in those memorable scenes at Wembley as the Mariners returned to the Football League.
Re-live the ups and downs of the 15/16 season - the goals, the glory...the story of Operation Promoted.
The DVD will cost £10 and can be pre-ordered from the Trust website from tomorrow. It will also be available in the club shop. It is hoped copies will be available before the season kicks off on 6 August.
£2 from every sale will be going towards the charitable efforts of Town’s commercial manager Dave Smith who is cycling in aid of the GTFC Development Association.

I'm pretty sure the Get Up There DVD is the FGR match only. It's for sale by the club in the club shop. This DvD covers the whole season.

Really,

Get in There (JPT) and Get Up There (play off final) - the original videos from the famous 1998 double Wembley season.

Marinerz 93

Get up there was also the title of the DVD featuring the play off final against FGR and it included extra bonus features, so it was a genuine question to ask.

Great work. I'll be getting one.

By the way - there's no such thing as 'pre-order'. You buy something now, or you order it. That's it.

You purchased Get up there II for the game that was against FGR.

Just bought mine, can't wait. Can see this getting worn out quicker than Extreme behind Invaders III.

Will definitely be getting this. I've already booked our TV for an "as live" viewing of the PO final on the Friday night before the season starts.

Hope we beat VGR and end this nightmare!  ;)

Mariners93 it was a genuine question which has been answered, there is no need to laugh and make fun out of the question, I suppose you have never asked a question in your life ?  Or how would you like it if I mocked your questions

What?!?! You mean I won't be able to appreciate the 6000 "nasty" crosses/corners across the season?!?

I think John Moore's great!

I've seen a video called Get Up There, but there wasn't a great deal of football in it.

I'm not making fun out of you, I'm banging my head against the wall because it was clearly explained what Operation Promoted DVD was about.

I often ask questions but generally I do a bit of research first, sometimes that negates the need for someone to google that for me  ;)
