Has just updated his profile picture on Facebook to one with him playing for Town. Probably nothing in it, but a bit of a coincidence. And an odd thing to do if you play for another club.

Odd indeed but he signed a two year deal so I doubt it would be anything.

Is that right. Probably nothing in it then.

Never say never , cos nothing is forever .  Wasn't it because he is based down south he signed for Orient ?

So long as he doesn't get signed up as a defender - leave him upfront for corners!

We have Amond and Bogle, why on earth would anybody want another ex GTFC player back?

Technically we still have Amond but may not next year if he does not sign his new deal.

That seems a very strange thing to do unless there is something in it. I think there probably is.

I still think he'd have something to offer as a backup striker.

Or a beer bottle opener!!
He'd link up well with either podge or Omar i think.

Pretty sure he change his profile picture the middle of the second half of the season.

A supporter (went to Wembley with her hubbie, so not a casual fan) whose view I trust has posted on Facebook that she saw him in Grimsby recently - did he have a girl friend here?

Another whose goal scoring improved after a barren spell then dropped off a good bit after leaving !

Under contract until 17th July 2017, so probably nothing more than a fantasy.

Have they signed anyone recently to drop Ollie down the pecking order ???

Bloody hell are we really debating whether a changed Facebook photo means Palmer is unhappy at Orient/returning?

Have you not read The Fishy between seasons before Dav?  ;)

Was he the last 'on loan' striker to score any goals for us?

Alabi got one or two for us.

He likes playing for them and they think he's great, he's under contract and we don't need him
Let's move on

Maybe he wants to look younger than he is. Wouldn't be the first person.  :)

I took a look on the Orient board and Palmer is pretty popular one there. Apparently he has hired a fitness trainer to get fit for next season.

Why are you stalking football players on Facebook?

I imagine there's a 250 yard injunction in place, laziness also.

At a petrol forecourt coming off the A180?

FAO Grimrob:

Could you or one of your comrades please hack into forecourt security cams and stream 24/7 live  to the Fishy?

As much as I would love him back at BP, I wouldn't read too much into a pic change, no offence  :).

He set that profile picture on the 11th of April, apparently. So I wouldn't get too excited.
