For me Disley and Arnold should be given new contracts. Including East and Tate also.

Fred,

You missed Max Wright who has been offered a 1 year pro deal. Josh Shunter has already been released a few years back.

Hope its re-signed:

Disley
McEwan
Tait
Toto
East
Nolan
Clay
Arnold
Amond

If Amond goes, will be betting he gets less than 15 goals next year, if he stays 20+

I'd hope Podge and Nolan realise that this is the first club it has worked for them at and that the fans love them, they are big parts of the squad and all of the above will not necessarily be true at a bigger club. On the other hand it is a short career and money talks. You can't begrudge anyone who leaves if they are offered silly money somewhere else.

The thing that worries me is it might not take silly money to convince players to leave.  Now we're back in the League, Fenty needs to be bold and untighten those purse strings, because all the other clubs will do that.  A drop back down to the Conference would be a disaster for us, so I really hope we have a top-half budget.  Gate receipts are still the top concern at this level, and we're way off bottom 2 in that respect, so we should be able to attract the right players.

Small-ish squad, high quality, that's what we need.

JPP - to be released. Struggled to break into the team this season, will struggle more so next year.

Monkhouse - to be released. Bristol Rovers obviously thought he wasn't cut out for league football and he's a year older now.

Rovers offered him a deal but he rejected it.

Big rumour doing the rounds on twitter that Nolans signed for a league one club, Matt Dannatt (telegraph sports editor) said he's heard it from a few people. Hopefully not true!

edit; now hes just retweeted another journalist saying that hes been told hes signed for chesterfield. Gutted but can't blame him for turning down league one.

Sorry to hear this, but one door closes another will open. Maybe now we can get the physical powerhouse we need in there.

I hate released day - you only here bad news. It was more fun when we were pants hearing that Lewis Gobern/Richard Brodie had been released wasn't depressing.

I hope we can start doing two year deals (in the main) so as to not lose our gems every time.

Maybe the fact that we have no further news means that the other players have been offered new terms and are considering them, rather than rejecting/accepting immediately.

I think that not even young Venney has said yes yet.

Last time se of them waited until others signed then jumped on board too so yes.
