Hopefully it will be our last non league regular season game ever!

But I think we'll win 2-1 with us losing 1-0 at half time but news will filter through that Braintree are winning and Tranmere players will give up.

Tranmere 0  -  Town 2   Town new  central midfield formation of Henderson, Arnold, East and Craigie Boy help to play Tranmere off the park.  Hurst,s celebrations are interrupted by a letter being presented to him by our non Chairman."  Speculation " is the headlines in our ever popular sporting paper.  What did it say ?

We tend to do better when teams need to try and attack us, so 0-2 win  :)

Was going to go for a Tranmere win, but agree they could be demoralised when Braintree get in front.

2-1 Town.  Nolan and Bogle.

0-3 to Town

Henderson, venney and clifton.

I would love the players that have not got near the first team to do a number on Trannies and show Hurst what a stubborn little stain he is!

I never do this thread but since it's the last game and seems especially difficult to call I'll go 2-2.

Tranmere will win, Dover will lose at home to FGR (or get a point at most), but Braintree will beat Alty and Grimsby will finish fourth, or even fifth. A draw for The Mariners will almost certainly be enough to clinch third place but Hurst's men will fail to get it.

This game could be so meaningless by the last 20 mins that I wouldn't be surprised if Hurst brought on Graham Gooch for a few overs.

How painful to be so right!
Grimsby Town have been in the top three practically all season and drop out after the last match.
SACK HURST!
