myself >:(  I'm begin to think that we would perhaps still be in a similar position no matter who was chairman after spending poorly and playing way above our strength for so long we was spending then what we did not have .
perhaps I am wrong in my thoughts.UTMM<.

You mean you made a post about Fenty but it wasn't 'liablous' - shame on you

I think a more accurate post might have been that

He has personally guided Grimsby Town Football Club to the lowest point in it's history (in my opinion of course)

It's a bit like the Titanic...a number of factors lead to its demise but you can't dispute that Captain Smith was at the helm.

Similarities to the GTFC scenario in my opinion....although we don't actually know just yet when we will finally hit rock bottom

With the Titanic once it slipped below the surface everyone who managed to abandon ship lost interest in whether it was going down any lower and when it would hit the bottom. We are approaching that situation now with GTFC.

At least Capt Smith went down with his ship...

Wickers, I think you are missing the point. You cannot personally slag people off in public. Are you a little bit slow?

There once was a chairman named Fenty,
Fook ups? My god there's been plenty,
The media strangled, and carrots been dangled,
Not one ounce of good news has he sent me.

But we still have a club to support,
And players our ex-chairman has bought,
A management team, with a long term dream,
Is it really as bad as we thought?

Allegedly our ex-chairman wants back,
The need to have one last crack,
Join me and the others, canvas sisters and brothers,
Say NO, we're fed up of that track.

Keith Briggs, I don't know my IP address so I can't help you John

That's not just an opinion though is it Swin?  We are in the fifth tier of English football and have never been lower since we joined the Football Alliance. The last brief spell out of the Football League was when there were only 2 divs in it, so we went down to level 3 (albeit regionalised).

Odd one out

Dinky do we are poo
Christmas is coming Grimsby are winning

Anyway there is no mileage from any quarter to slagged anyone off, especially now the club is in its darkest period. It is clear if you read Mr F's comments that the area where the blame lies is the Managers we have had they have sold themselves to the club with I presume a football plan to rebuild the empire back to where it deserves. For them to fail which they paid for with losing their jobs. I personally feel that our current duo (not to keen on two leaders myself) must be held to task and explain in football terms how we drew to Bath City what tactics went wrong which players failed to carryout their plan, only then will this once mighty club start to improve and move forward on an honest open path.

He reminds me of Gaddafi trying to cling to power but with only his family and a few desperate loyalists backing him up whilst the General Population want him ousted.

IF  I said, " Fenty does not like people bringing flasks into the ground,"

Would that be libel ? :P

It would be really funny if the new ground went ahead and Conoco were pushed aside by Thermos Flasks as ground sponsors.
