Dispatches will reveal the name a top Premier League footballer who tested positive for cocaine.

He was later sold by his club in a multimillion pound deal but his new team were not told of the drug test, a TV investigation claims.

Are we allowed to speculate who it is our will we get sued?

Oh goody!

My money is on Andy Carroll.

Think Bullard would now be classed an ex Premiership footballer so don't think it's him.

Trouble is i bet theres more than one,ive just read an article in the Daily Mail about this programme thats on CH4 tonight at 8pm and goes into good detail about how many Prem players dodged drugs tests as they werent where they were when they should have been and Ferdinand only got banned because they fluffed trying to cover it up.I wont say to much about what else what I read because i dont want to spoil the surprise the programme will give you

this is just bit of idle fun
joey barton - scouse
rio ferdinand - although thought his alleged love for colombian marching powder was over
anton ferdinand - could get it from his borther?? allegedly!
wayne rooney - scouse
john terry - gets it from his dad
torres - would explain why he's suddenly turned complete shiite

but the clever money is apparently on alan hutton

The show claims to have official documents that show three former England internationals and one Scottish star faced doping investigations after suspicious levels of testosterone were found in their urine

So are you saying that Joey Barton and Wayne Rooney are addicted to scouse, the traditional stew type dish asociated with Liverpool? Or they are from Liverpool so automatically must be stereotyped druggies? If its the latter can i add Robbie Fowler  ;)

definitely stereotyping
scouse = criminal = workshy = druggy = scum
done 12-15 years in construction and have NEVER employed a decent scouser

Robbie fowler  ;)

Could be Woodgate, Adeyboyor (sp).
could be Rooney... He might of snorted it off a 50 year old hookers thigh.. Also Kolo Toure is already serving a ban but what was the real reason, could be anything. maybe Crouch or Carroll he has lost some weight somehow!

As usual with these things - a massive let down. Echoes of that Garry Flitcroft front page and the Panorama about agents.

I have an Evertonian friend who was adamant that Beattie was reknowned for having white nostrils during his time in the blue half of Liverpool.

The virus thing that meant he had to train on his own and has come back, albeit for Scotland a couple of times and put in good performances?

This a none starter of a debate though isn't it. Many many top players are probably on the stuff, in this country anyway, and let's face it, they can afford it...
