Some rumours yesterday that some of our more undesirable supporters have ear marked this game as one to attend.
I can't make this one as moving the youngest lad to uni

Most certainly feeling the need for this one. If we can get past H&Y okay would tee us up nicely for one of the biggies and the whole mood around BP would have changed encouraging a swelling of the away numbers.
Me + well I'd have to work on the others as I know monies tight but sure arms could be twisted.... (icon_twisted)

[/b]
Never forget when we won the Fourth Division Championship many years ago, I think it was at Easter time and we went to Stockport needing a win badly.
Towns following that night was incredible we won I think by two goals to nil it was on a Friday night as well.
I scored one of the best goals of my carreer which was disallowed through Stuart Brace being offside. knocked the ball from just over the half way line went over the goalie`s head just underneith the bar, but Bracey had been walking back from a previous attack and was judged to be offside even though he was not interfering with play.
A good ground for Grimsby is Stockport have got a confident feeling for this game hopefully with that win Saturday we are on the right road for a climb up the stairs.

Do you still get a bit of the side stand to the left or is it just behind the goal now they have seats in there ?

I think if its raining they allocate so many seats in another stand for away fans according to the BSP Ground Guide Site. Heres the link. Apologies if this site has already been posted.

Me plus many - I'll not let the Cockney know how we're travelling. He seems to think me and my mates are up there with Paul Dodd although we only want a good day out, not to be followed by him and his camera hat wearing minions and herded around like sheep.

Not me for this one. I'm making the most of the rest of the time I'm signed off work. Going down to my brother's in Surrey on Sunday and then we're going off somewhere for the week. I'm actually booked on the 1900 train from Donny on that Saturday though so there will probably be a few Town fans on that as that is the 1728 train from Stockport.
The following week I'm up in Scotland for 4 days visiting relatives and taking in this years Brain Tumour UK Conference in Glasgow. Then on the following Monday I'm back at work for the first time since the end of July.

I'll be there. I remember the last time I went to Edgeley Park in the cup in 2008 (?) It definitely drunk it down then, and we where moved into the stand to the left.
We won 1-2, and as we where leaving there was loads of little 16 year old wannabe hooligans waiting outside the gate, trying to kick off and not one copper in sight. Afterwards in the train station they where stomping around the platform looking for Grimsby fans.

46 quid, sheeeeeeesh, got ours about 4-6weeks ago for 24 quid return, was a bit wary of getting them that far in advance, especially with what happened to LES a few times last season with the fixture swap for TV games, but certainly paid off this time..
Going to buy York tickets soon..
