C'mon town FG are that bad they have a decent striker who I think will be snapped up by a club in the higher division.  It also appears that the majority of the strikers such as Duffy, Elding, Spencer and possibly Mulready will be rotating for a place along side Hearn.

Without having a reserve team we can't a) keep the playersmatch fit b) if strikers are off form the best way for them to recapture it is in the reserves and c) it allows players playing time after returning fr an injury not having a reserve team is killing us lol.

The Mrs just commented "Is this commentator having a hand shandy?".

To be fair he sounds like any other local radio commentator, if you have ever listened to any other regional radio you would get the same sort of commentary. I think we are pretty lucky to have Tondeur as our MC.

Excellent! The commentary sounds golden according to you lot.

One last word on eagle, I think he is of similar standar to serge, but serge gets in due to his pace, which we lack.

You would think that reading the football results was an easy job. On local radio they make it difficult and send you to sleep.

James Alexander Gordon on Five Live is the master. You can recognize a draw coming up from his change in tone.  What a great job working only 10 mins a week.   :)

FGR are having quite a bit of possession and as usual now town are up they tend to be trying to DEFEND the lead, giving away some silly free kicks too, but FGR donty sounds extremely threatening

It sort of reminds me of supply teachers that you got at school when the teacher was off sick, getting a supply teacher usually meant that any bizzare local character would turn up and just tell the class to be quiet and copy a page from a textbook. Maybe he is a supply commentator.

I like that. Didn't want to tempt fate but I didn't feel nervy at the end. Well in control, and we stopped Styche scoring, great result. Not a classic but I'd settle for that kind of ground-out win every away game against these 'smaller' teams.

Well done Town.

Thought it would be a 4-4-2 try to nick it job but we didn't just sit back for a point and sounds like we defended stoutly.
Never like sitting on leads but you can't knock them.
Thought Scott got the selection right though was slightly suprised no Church for Artus but who cares...  :)

Will be interesting to see what those that went say.

Let's see if we can string a couple of wins together now.

I think that injury to Church has really taken its toll. Sounded a bit nasty at the time, but a boot planted in your back with force is going to take some shaking off, a painful back just makes you immobile.
Hope he gets back to FULL fitness soon.

Was in Lincoln at the weekend but listened to the game. What the intercourse was that commentator all about?Said loads but said nothing.I couldn't follow the game at all at some points.

Sounded a dull game but we ground out a point without ever seeming to get in their box for most of the second half.Funny thing is,we didn't seem to play as well as we did the previous two games when we got nothing, but that's football.

Away win with a clean sheet is always a good confidence builder.

Commentary was a little odd. A lot of the scores from other games around the country were backwards. And our player was called 'Heard'.
Felt a bit for him though, Kenny failed to turn up and he did the whole thing alone. Normally Tondeur splits each half with Burnsy or Matt Dean or whoever, and with the aid of a summariser there's sometimes up to 4 of them doing it. He went solo.
He's our 'lucky'commentator though, so he stays  ::)

In future he should stay away from the summariser bit if it gives us a result like that, Kenny on the radio is bad luck especially if he`s wearing green

Expecting us to only get better when the injured players like Church etc are fully fit and gunning for their place.
