Can someone answer me this ?
If it's true that:
"If a player wants away you can't keep him here/it's best that's he's not here"
Then why have Man City rejected a £30 million + offer from Corinthians for Tevez ?

Because he's worth much more than that, if a want-away Torres is £50m id say Tevez is £70m+

True.
And he's got 3 years left on his contract.
And Man City are probably the only club in the world that could happily pay a player not to play.

Yeah they're probably holding out for the money like you say - think I read they're lookign for £40m though ?
My point is, if they don't manage to sell then are they making a mistake ?

Just seen you post Abdul so I'll change the question to
"Are they making a mistake if they play him ?"

If he scores goals, then no.

Probably not, at a guess. Tevez seems to be a moaner off the pitch, but, never comes across as anything other than a perfect pro on it.
People talk about S&H wanting their strikers to defend from the front - Tevez is the perfect example of this.

If a player wants away then let them go, their a human being and no one should be made to feel unhappy it's just a bloody job at the end of the day.
Man City should sell him, maybe they hanging out for a better price, he's worth more than 30 million in my opinion and it's hard to replace a goal machine in the premiership.
