Poor Sod. They're probably divorced now. She'll have the house and the car, mark my words. Oh yeah, he'll still end up paying a fortune in maintainence though and she'll be using the kids as a weapon against him. He'll have found out the hard way that every time he wants to do something it will probably cost him thousands in court fee's just to get his basic rights. Even though the judge may critisize her for her behavour he still won't be able to claim back costs. If he's not careful he'll just end up bitter and twisted. Thank God I'm not ;)
