Vodka Drinker Posts: 5,897 Posts Per Day: 0.99 Reputation: 84.65% Rep Score: +36 / -6 Approval: +17,410 Gold Stars: 532	Although I was a big fan of Slade in his first spell, it kinda sums him up when he got Francis in on loan and chucked him on the right wing simply because he was tall.  That meant we could lump it out to him for a knock-on.  Very similar to the much slated Monkhouse tactic of 2015/16. Francis has since gone onto have a very solid career in the higher levels of the English game as a not too shabby centre-back/right-back.

I think he said he played about 30/40 times in 2 years.                              Over 36 years living in Suffolk but always a mariner.                              68 Years following the Town                               Life member of Trust                                First game   April 1955
