When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Jackson can't be fit or he'd be included wouldn't he?

An actual reserve game that might actually take place, with actual reserve players? There's a novelty.

And if he's still not fit then he's barely figured in this vital run-in, along with the crocked for the season Vernam. How does the loan system work again? Can we not bring in an emergency loan player in to replace current loan players who won't figure again this season and have had their loans effectively canceled?

Hopefully Dembele can begin to work his way back with thus run out and show MJ what he can potentially do. McAlister in there too but....pffftt. (Twilight Zone music begins in background)

Without speculating i am wondering whether he is 80% fit and MJ doesn`t want to risk aggravating the injury and would rather have a 90% fit and available for Saturday although i would say there`s more chance of and 80% fit Jackson scoring than a 110% fit Matt...

Emergency loans will only be allowed in a proper emergency, like having no fit keeper. We can't say we have an emergency, when we have enough players to put out two teams with subs.

It's telling that we have so many injuries at the club at the same time and a good portion of them are the loanees. I'm wondering how many injuries there would be if we were fighting for promotion. Promotion chasing sides seem to manage to put out virtually the same 11 every game. Always struck me as odd did that.

What if we just send them a print-out of our form in our last 18 games?

I thought that was the case, but yeah, it's been the oddest season all round. Rubbish strikers fit and playing/failing, and 3 young loan strikers who all go out on loan presumably to get fitter end all up injured at the same time...there's no end to this seasons little twists.

The heading " strong reserve side "  made me laugh,

How can we have a strong reserve side if the 1st team is so poor ?
