It seemed to be the assumption that the players were bought ‘on the cheap’. Or, they are what we can afford and we’re living within our means. We will not get better players if we actively seek to stop giving the club our custom. We will get the opposite. I dunno what the answer is, but a bit of food for thought anyway. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day,teach a man to fish and you give him an excuse for him to escape from the wife and kids for the weekend and drink lots of beer.

What is on show is quite poor, so I'll listen on the radio, still have my flask available though.
