The divide between the fans and the club is wider than the Humber at the minute.

No one at the club has any idea what the fans want. That's because they don't listen to us and, crucially, they don't want to listen to us.

If Steve Wraith had made any attempt to reach out to the fans, read this message board or physically talked to fans on a match day about their feelings towards the trophy competition, he'd have known than none of us had bullied anyone into not going.

But no. He's just thrown an attitude at the whole subject without making the tiniest effort to engage with us.

His attitude is reflective of the club. No effort, no time, no desire to do what's best.

Do as we say, not do as we do.

They just expect us to turn up every week and hand over our hard-earned money, no questions asked.

If GTFC was a traditional business, it would've folded years ago. They leech off our loyalty. They've always relied on our loyalty. And last night was the first time in our ENTIRE HISTORY that our loyal troops seriously turned their back on the club and they hit a massive red panic button.

Last night was entirely the result of THEIR doing, not ours.

I really hope last night marked a turning point - the moment when the club finally listened, and acted on it.

They have a chance to do that, but I'm not holding my breath.

I thought the board decided that John Fenty would be the spokesperson  for the club,

So has  Wraith been bullied into making this statement ?

Another sad low in the PR history of GTFC, John Fenty wheels out the accounts bean counter to spout the club propaganda instead of giving us an account of what he's doing to put right the Stevenage debacle.

Carry on with Sladeball and your continued disdain towards the fan base and you'll find that King George stadium will be big enough.

This is exactly the reason for having a trust that represents the fans, who engage with the board, and the board should be engaging to the trust and the trust with the fans.  I know Steve only by playing for his sunday league team and comes across as a good bloke.  I'm a little confused by this, and i would have thought by now they know how the fans feel about this competition.  I know it's clearly a way of trying to attract people but they need to listen to the fans otherwise the fan base could get smaller.

Are we finally getting to the point where that noisy minority against the regime are becoming a majority? They’re properly taking the urine out of us now. Are the Trust going to mobilise the fans for a takeover (even a temporary one until a long term buyer can be found) yet or what?
