I have followed GTFC since 1958 and have no intent to boycott any game,
Spoke to a few of our travellers tonight and they all have the same opinion.
The players need an atmosphere to help them not play with no support.

That is your prerogative as it is mine to boycott as I see fit

Just wondered how many people talking about boycotting actually attended the game in August?

Seems like a freedom of choice thing to me

I attended last season and after their stewards stood in front of my 7 year old son for most of the first half so he couldn't see I decided never to go back. August sounded far worse and at cost of £100 or so I'll never ever go there again.

Of course it's a freedom of choice.  Just as attending the Checkatwat trophy is a freedom of choice.  No-one should be ridiculed or given grief for attending.  But there is nothing wrong with trying to organise some form of protest over what happened.  I was there for the last two seasons and will not be going that's for sure.
Lets see how many actually attend next seasons game there (obviously if we are both in same league) and then you will have a rough estimate of those who actually attended this season but will boycott next.
My guess is it will be quite a few.  But for those who wish to go, I genuinely hope you see us romp to victory and that it is a pleasant experience.  Whatever happens, I would wager there is a severe change in attitude towards our fans for the better from the Stewards etc.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

For the attention of Terry and like minded fans,

If you want to go then go,

Nobody is bullying you not to,

We are all Town and we have all got our own thoughts on the matter.

Be ironic if a fixture comes out and the games got something resting on it late on in the season cos at least 1500 will travel including a sizeable element who will give the stewards and police some work to do.

Good point, so we who say we are going to boycott the game reserve the right to change our minds
