For those interested in a former Mariner. Richard Tait is playing for motherwell vs rangers in the scottish cup semi final live now on BTSport 1.

Thought he was quality for us so good luck to him

Was a good player for us. Admirably filled the gap left by Magnay. Will always be remembered as part of that promotion squad.

You may as well watch the National League Pete apart from Celtic the rest are Div 4/NL at best.

Interesting to note that an ex conference player in Moult scored the Motherwell goals.

As for Tait - I thought he was technically a better footballer than Magnay. A really good, consistent player and I was really disappointed to lose him.
