So like father like son.  Rather than take positives from tonights win....you prefer to focus on a GTFC player who made what....15 - 20 mins from tbe bench.

You truly are a wierd town supporter.

Matt seema pointless and only really put any sort of movement or effort in once when he flew in to block a shot, apart from that he looked like he couldn't be bothered. We was crying out for some sort of pace to go forward with in the last 20 minutes, but a win is a win and I can't fault any of the starting 11's effort and commitment. You could tell even at 3 1 up us the fans where nervous.
A good win to push us forward and we're now 5 unbeaten? UTM

Last nights win might indicate that some things are coming together, as frustrating as days like Saturday are on reflection it clearly takes time to get out of this league after coming up from non league if you look at the table this morning recently promoted sides such as Mansfield, Cambridge, Barnet, Cheltenham and FGR sit below us some of whom have spent relatively big for a mediocre season to date.

Above sit Lincoln who are probably on the biggest crest of a wave and cash flow in their history, Luton who have been building for 3 seasons and can attract better players due to budget & location and Newport who have been a 4G surprise season to date.

Still expect us to finish upper mid table and possibly come back stronger next term, for those expecting/demanding "champagne football" this is the 4th tier and sometimes the standard will be iffy, maybe we have been away so long we'ed forgotten that?

Champagne football? Average, or ordinary would suffice right now if done consistently.

Iffy? Some of these displays have been downright unforgiveable.

We lurch from one disastrous hoofball session to a glimpse of a real football in a matter of days, until that is resolved one way or another I will continue to support the team but will have one very suspicious eye on Slade, the man headhunted to do that very job.

Unforgivable is losing 1 - 5 at home to Doncaster, 5 - 0 at Crewe and picking a mad selection away at Pompey and losing 4 - 1, I get it's a "game of opinions" but where Town are concerned it's often a game of "over expectation" too.
