Surprised at the amount of people saying we should drop Berrett. Don’t think done a lot wrong all season.

Agree - he's maybe playing too deep but probably because he's been told to, and wins a surprising number of headers too.

I think other than maybe Dembele he's been our best player this season. He's easily been our most consistent player. Very neat and tidy, doesn't give the ball away and has been surprisingly combative.

Problem is some people just can’t see beyond him being bang average being played on the right wing. He does the central role really well. Breaks up play, keeps the ball moving.

This HAS to be one of the teams for me....

Option 1...

             McKeown

Mills Osbourne Clarke Collins

                 Rose

Bolly.   Summerfield     DJ

                Jones Dembele

Option 2....

             McKeown

    Mills Osbourne  Collins

  Berrett   Rose  Summerfield

     Bolly   Dembele    DJ

                Jones

Dixon has been so poor the last 3-4 games and doesn't warrant a place (unless Slade wants to carry on watching the ball be launched out of play).

Woolford offers us absolutely nothing. No pace, cannot beat a man, havent seen him put one cross in, doesn't defensively cover.
He's a player on his way down and absolutely reeks of a panic signing.

Abit harsh on Berret in option 1 because he hasn't been bad but I just rate Rose more.

I've took Mills over Davies because he offers more of an attacking option.

Our strikers (Vernon, Matt and Hooper) shouldn't be anywhere near the squad, never mind the team.
In all honesty, I cannot remember a time where 3 out of 4 strikers where so poor.

Anyway, just my opinion. Sure somebody won't agree.

I'd rather we started with 11 players personally. I know we got used to 10 earlier in the season but no need to start that way.

Looking forward to a brighter future now Fenty has gone.

As for option 2, defensively that's horrible. You've got three centre backs and no players from midfield covering wide such as a wing-back.

Disagree.
When we defend, Rose and either Summerfield/Berett would drop in and cover in front of the back three. Both Mills and Osbourne both poses the pace at the back,

When we attack, we attack as a five (one of Summerfield or Berrett, Dembele, Bolly, DJ and Jones).
Summerfield and Berret interchange on the attack. One sits and one ventures forward.

Basically we attack as 5 and defend as 5, if they hit us on the break.

Doesn't change the fact that you've got nothing covering out wide, particularly on the left where you'd be relying solely on 37 year old Collins. It would be defensive suicide.
