Glad we got to see Woolford's part in our winner. Receiving the ball in his own box with his back to the rest of the pitch, most players at our level would have hacked it to safety, but he brought it down, turned away from their player and hit a good ball down the line, which led to the free kick, which led to the goal. We commented on that at the game and his quality and decision making is really good. Great to see some proper footballers finding their way to the club after the non league years.

Two things stood out for me the determination to win the ball back when not in possession and Matts contribution in almost every attack knocking balls down,flick on's holding the ball up and harassing defenders. Agree about Woolford he looks class and has a superb footballing brain with ability to do the unexpected.

I do think though that with Woodford, Barrett, Osborne and Clements in the squad with the trickery of Dembelle etc... once we are settled it could be an interesting 2nd half of the season "Crombie you would have got to that if you weren't such a fat ba%$@rd" - George Kerr, inspiration from the dug out 70s style

He is joking isn't he - they were non existent in the first half and had a short spell right at the end when we sat back. We were by far the better team.
