[quote=120772]Having watched Mansfield last week at Carlisle, I predict that:

The Mansfield centre back (with close cropped hair) will bully the man he is marking by driving him out of the way by force and not getting penalised.
Grimsby players will be fouled off the ball (particularly by the right back), when trying to make runs for 1 - 2 's
The forward Angol will be 'looking for' opportunities to fall over to gain free kicks.
Mansfield striker will back in to defenders and then fall over to win a penalty.
The Mansfield management team, Evans and PR (not sure who he is), will be in the 4th official's face when a decision, relating to the above tactics, goes against them.

Not if Matt plays he won`t, he`s a big unit that will be a real handful for close crop
I hope the refereeing officials are on their game, and send close crop off

Well, there's a decent chance we could win as I can't make it due to the 1pm kick-off as I work Saturday mornings. I do often take the mornings off but as I've hardly any holiday days left it wasn't really an option.

I was away when we beat Chesterfield on the opening day and I was in Belgium last weekend when we beat Crewe, so I've seen us get beaten in every game I've been to this season.

It was good to hear that we reverted to 4-4-2 at home last week but whether we'll play that formation away we'll have to see. We do have a decent record against Mansfield though, having only lost 2 of the past 11 meetings, winning 8, including the unforgetable 7-2 in our Conference days.

I'm going for us to sneak it 1-0.

Perhaps grumps was meaning the towns defense was too "LOOSE" hence the 2-1 defeat 🤣

Is he still playing for Town

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
