It might take Steven ages to put his on.
I see what you did there!

| Through the door there came familiar laughter, I saw your face and heard you call my name. Oh my friend we're older but no wiser, For in our hearts the dreams are still the same. |

I can't see Stevenage thinking 'oh look at that lot, they're making a joke of it, it proves they don't have a serious complaint'. They're not taking it serious anyway. I don't even think it will register with them. But it might remind fans of other clubs.

Totally disagree on that one. It's not like inflatagate it's far more serious. Stevenage will be looking to throw back as much sh1t as they can to either our fans or club. Apart from which, it also trivialises the disgusting events from Stevenage. I realise that's not the intention, but I believe it's how it would be construed by anyone outside of GTFC.

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

Some people don't want to do it which is fine but a lot do which is also fine. Should be a laugh, I know quite a few that will be doing this, hopefully they will be a lot taking part. Good old theme away day!

I don't think it does trivialise the issue. Inflatagate is just another symptom of the same malaise that brought us the events at Stevenage. It's all about the way people think they can treat ordinary people going about their lawful business. If Stevenage FC fling any mud it will only be preaching to the converted, and resurrect the issue again with everyone else. How's that going to play? Stevenage FC: 'look at them, making a joke out of something they said was serious', The World at Large: 'why, remind me what they're protesting about?' SFC: 'er, they said that erm, our stewards molested the women and a woman watched the men at the urinals.' TWAL: 'Oh I remember it was all over the papers the other week. It's a pretty far-fetched thing to make up. And they do say there's no smoke without fire.' SFC to self: 'Damn should have kept shtum and waited til it blows over.' If anyone at Stevenage was going to have their collars felt by the constabulary, it would have happened by now. The evidence has been there for weeks. And I've no faith in the football authorities taking any meaningful action. The FL have not got a good recent track record of listening to supporters.
