Town were top of the Championship...........and then John Fenty took control and what followed is, as they say, history.

62 Seasons following the Mariners from the Barrett Stand side.(apart from 2020-21)

Yes, and just like that day, England are thrashing another world football behemoth (cough) Malta, erm 1-0.

That's what 16 more years of the Premier League has done for English football. At this rate by 2030 we'll be scraping draws with Andorra and the Faroe Islands.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

16 years?

Once the pride of Humberside.

Seems more like forever to me actually in terms of waching town and very painful to watch.

Scunny and Hull rising above us not just in stature but with new stadiums etc we have been stuck in the past far to long.

Makes you think doesn't it. Back then, we seemed to have half the number of players but they were twice as good.
