Mind you, that's too easy for a tinpot club like them. I still remember in 96 when they were denied promotion to the football league because their ground didn't meet regulations.

Walking to the ground we asked a Stevenage fan the way to the  Our Mutual Friend pub. and I truly thought he was expecting to get thumped by me or my 68 year old companion. A large part of their fan base seemed to be made up of people our age although I accept that they aren't probably the fans who frequent their forum. The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress. Joseph Joubert.

There are people who make daft comments on all boards including our own. As for Stevenage being a shithole, I can't see it myself. Not the prettiest of places (though the old town is alright) but if more towns had extensive safe cycle networks like they have the world'd be a better place.
