It's currently on Steam for £7 for 24 hours so I reckon I'll buy it. Last one I had was FM 2013. The new one (funnily enough FM2018 ) is out in November if you'd rather wait.

edit....wow...there's some pretty awful reviews...wasn't expecting that.

Hey mate,

I'm abit of FM nutter been playing since 2005. its got better since 2013 but I feel the graphics engine could still do with updating. Would be cool to maybe start up a Fishy FM league.

FM17 is good especially with the updated database for 2017/2018 season

How does a multiplayer season work? I used to spend hours just trying to find a left-back before the season started.

Football Manager 2018 is due out first week of November. It will be a little more than £7 though, probably nearer £35/£40.

Im playing this version and im currently 5th in league 1.  Won the league 2 title and inly lost 4 games.   Pinched Lincolns Theo Robinson in the jan window for free as he is on non playing terms.  Have some good players Liam Kelly being one of them.

Loved it between about 94 and 07. After that it got far too complex and I've only got an attention span of about Quito.

Great game and very in depth with tactics and preparation of games but for me some of the fun has gone from it. I liked FM when you could load up the game for an hour and get a few games in. I recently broke my wrist and had a few weeks off work. I only managed a handful of seasons!
