I'd agree with that except Kelly on the left if fit. I think McAllister and rose would have a good balance with the former sitting there and rose being a more mobile pain in the behind for the opposition.

Dont think there's much of a chance that McAllister will be starting. Imagine he was only on the bench because of Vernon's last minute injury and there being nobody else to put on!

If McAllister fit he has to play. Was excellent against Plymouth last season.

Has he had any game time since his last injury ?

If he is fit enough to be on the bench then give him 20 mins.

A 4231 formation with McAllister and rose sitting , dembele DJ  and Jones behind hooper.

I think the players we have right now and with Slade favouring only one striker a 4231 is our best bet rather than the 451 he used Saturday .

Mills will be on the bench for Saturday, Davies had a good game and Slade won`t drop him, nor should he IMO

With Berrett suspended, perhaps we might see Davies in midfield? Rose can do all the running, Davies can do the passing

Pretty much the same, Tombola, and if fit Clements and McAlister to get some game time too all being well. Feels like there is a lot riding on the "behind closed doors" game tomorrow in terms of match fitness, cohesion and sharpness.

Would slip Jones into central mid instead of Berrett and have DJ or Tombola on the wing vacated by Jones.

Otherwise leave the same, i think Cardwell with Jones at the front of the centre mid with Summerfield (until the other players are fit) and Rose sitting would work for me, must have natural width though with pace.

Davies was decent on Sat but both times he got forward on the right was not quick enough to beat the full back and get a good cross in. I would go for Mills purely on his pace, something we seriously lacked on Saturday.

I’d keep Summerfield in the team, he puts his head anywhere, literally stampeding around like a rhino, credit to him for a lot of interceptions he made last weekend. Definitely missing some of Clements composure in midfield though.

Does Mills possess much pace or are you just going on the fact that he is younger?

If Clem or McAllister are fit, either should replace Berrett with Kelly replacing Summerfield.
