The initial post doesn't actually say they had to play for Grimsby Town.

So, who from their past at their peak, would I like to see wearing the number 9 shirt;

Alan Buckley 1973-1978 125 goals in 241 appearances for Walsall.  

Otherwise, the first centre forward I saw in a Town shirt, Ralph Hunt 1959-1961 39 goals in 53 games.


Supporting Town for 65 years.
