Hardly prolific but still young enough to improve. If he has a yard of pace than that's a bonus

10 goals in 51 league 1 games, only 30 starts.

Not a shocking return seeing as he wasn't always a starter. I'll wait till I've seen him play before writing him off.

And he has been played out of position in many of those games. More than prepared to give him a chance, but the moans about his lack of committment are concerning

Wilko must rate him from his time at Northampton !

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I know these clips don't mean a great deal, but looks as if he's got decent pace for a big lad. Different to what we currently have available up top!

Plays like Bogle.  Like the look of him.  And is not greedy...has pace...strong and can take a set piece.  Good signing if true.  And couldn't care if Vale fans hate him.

Speaking to Vale season ticket holder tonight, says Hooper turns up for 1 in 5 games, very adept at cutting in from the left and hitting right foot curlers across the keeper but is pretty anonymous for most games. Lets see what hes like as a striker, but thats 2 attacking players we have signed from The Mighty Fail who managed a massive 45 league goals last season.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
