A friend and I are heading over to Belgium at the beginning af September for the Belgium Beer Festival in Brussells.

We go on the Friday and come back on the Monday so we will miss the Crewe home game. I do notice though, that it appears that Aalst are at home on that Sunday so we were thinking of making the trip there.

Has anyone on here been to an Aalst game before? I assume you can catch a train direct to Aalst from Brussells.

Anyone any advice re making a decent day of it there?

Was a decent weekend last time out, the standard of football is probably step 6 at best although I understand Aalst were promoted so that may have improved. The beer is more important than the football though of course.

It's taken years but we've finally found something that Les doesn't know about railways!

Google Maps reckons it's 15 minutes walk, Les.

Probably one or two pubs to nip into on the way to the ground as well.

Yes Les, we walked it from the station via one or two ale houses.
