Ultimately we need a left back, and one who can play 90 mins. With him having trained with us, he should hopefully be in good shape.

Was at Huddersfield not too long ago, too. "Dixon was selected in the full Scotland squad for a friendly against the Czech Republic in March 2010, along with United teammates Andy Webster and Garry Kenneth. Seems to me that he would be an excellent signing with plenty of pedigree at only 30 would probably have plenty of fuel left in the tank. I have no idea whether someone's doing it deliberately or not, so I never want to correct them. Such a weird thing to manifest itself in such a localised way.
