Reading between the lines of what Woods had to say today in the GT, I think there are some issues with the lad Rose. If he was injured then Woods would surely come out and say so.





One player Town fans are yet to see so far in pre-season is young forward Ahkeem Rose, who will be part of Slade’s first team squad for the forthcoming season - but Woods is confident the 19-year-old will get his chance to impress.

“He’s not quite right at the moment, but we know we’ve got a talent there, everybody saw that last year when he came into the Youth Team and made a massive impact.

“From different areas, it’s got to be right for him to play at the right time.

“I know everybody wants to take a look at him, and that’s great when you do things well, so he’ll get his time and he’ll come through in the right areas.”
