It may do but the priority for all is giving the 1st team the best chance. The day is extended from previous years and its forecast to rain so a decision had to be made before the day.

People will be disappointed but most of the ground is open this year with more activities.  Players will still be mingling and meeting fans just off the pitch.

I went today with my wife, enjoyed the band and you could see a lot of effort had been put into the day.

Not as many people as last year but the fact you couldn't go onto the pitch probably put a few people off.

I was delighted to get in the group photo with fellow fans, players and staff

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

I may be a bit biased but it looked as though the vast majority of those who attended enjoyed the day. Agree with P.P. about the Indian band they were excellent. The players spent ages amongst the fans after the group photo and signing autographs over the fence.
It was difficult to work out how many were there but numbers were probably down on previous years.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Indian band?! That'll set the anti-diversity lot off on one.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

They were playing big band style American jazz with an ace brass section. Quite something. Got a decent ovation at the end. Would certainly liven up pre-match entertainment.

Must say the players and management team went out of their way to sign autographs and have pictures taken with the fans, they were all a credit to GTFC.
