Showed a few good touches on Saturday so potentially a very good signing for us. I'd imagine Wilkinson and Vernon will be able to help him develop his game as well.

They must believe he's gonna make the grade for a 2 year deal.  1 year plus a 1 year option is what clubs like us like IMO just in case he dosn't cut it.

Must have something about him for Reading to spend £75k on him.

The internet suggests he has never scored a goal in a proper match at senior level. Is this right?

Good signing. He has good movement, reasonably strong and a good finisher. If we signed Robinson as well I'd be pleased. We'd have added some strength and pace going forward as well as a bit of trickery which would compliment our other players like Jones and Osborne nicely.

Just watched the Barnsley highlights. Great movement and flick on for the second goal from Cardwell!
