Both clubs have mutually agreed to a kick-off time of 2pm on Thursday 13th July.

The Main Stand will be the only stand open for this fixture, with admission costing £3 for adults and £1 for concessions (Under 18 and 65+) via a cash turnstile.

With Scunthorpe United's first team currently in Austria on a pre-season tour, they have confirmed that a 'youthful' team will be competing in the fixture.

We will also be opening a cash bar in the Main Stand for light refreshments.

I hope we put out a decent ish side - it's always nice to beat Scunny. If anything anything extra game or two will help with fitness levels for those not getting as many minutes as others during preseason, thinking the likes of Boyce, Venney, Wright, Clifton etc.

Could also be a good to work on some or reinforce tactical information for the season, and I know it's only the Lincs Senior Cup for winning it would be great for team bonding/morale to stay the season on a high.

If we win on Thursday will our Boston friendly "double up" as a Lincs Cup tie?

Is that possible? Otherwise will we have to play them twice in the space of a few days?
