I think Slade thinks he is not ready yet but he did say he will make a good player when he fills his big form out,

I took that to mean when he gets a bit stronger.

I don't think we were ever going to be interest in our situation.

With us already having Vernon, Yussuf, Asante and Jones, any other striker coming in needs to be a ready-made goalscorer, not a work-in-progress developing striker who might come good.

Had we not had Yussuf/Asante/Vernon he might have been worth another season (probably not as main focal point of attack though).

Maybe he's just really slow at paperwork Pete ??
