Good signing but inconsistent as are most strikers in this league, the fact that Luton did not hang on to him probably says a lot, did Ok for us though, works hard and chases down.

How I look at it is would I be very happy if he signed for us? At the moment I'd be satisfied because we're short on striking options but I wouldn't be excited by the signing. I do however think Lincoln will do well this year. Us and them in the play offs providing we can bring in a couple of quality players

Palmer will probably outpace our zimmer framed centre backs, or possibly the zimmer framed right back. Let's hope we don't sign a left back who was also born in the seventies.
