Yeah, to be fair.

The negotiations aren't going to decide whether we are 'copulated' or not. More a case of just how 'copulated' we're going to be at the end of the day.

Deal don with DUP May here to stay! Steptoe and his misfits lost will be a few years to go before he gets another chance to ruin the Country.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Promise a man someone else's fish and he votes Labour.

Just waiting for Northern Ireland to go kaboom now. That's the biggest risk with this DUP deal.

Wait a minute, how come the ToTW thread is yet again full of political guff? I didn't start it!

At which point, our economy tanks. Hard brexit = the worst option of all.

You can't expect the EU to offer us any gifts, not least when we've been doing some preposterous sabre-rattling in the lead up to negotiations (though the scabbard is empty because they hold all the cards). Ultimately, they've got to look after their own interests and that means keeping the EU together even if it hurts us more than it needs to.

One interesting point is that there seems to be a bit of a banking crisis developing in parts of the EU. A Spanish bank collapsed last week and a couple of smaller Italian banks have just gone as well. If there is any contagion, then that could lead to severe problems in the Eurozone. Whether that will help or hinder the negotiations, I have no idea.

Might make them play hardball even more, might make them take a more conciliatory tone.

I just love all you people with a crystal ball that know exactly what will happen if we leave the single market/customs union/Europe courts.
I'm presuming it's the same crystal ball that the same people used to tell us all the world would end if we didn't join th Euro zone. That's turned out well for country's like Greece 🇬🇷

OUT MEANS OUT.
They need us more than we need them.

While we are at it(without google) can you name all the white, over 50, unelected, vastly overpaid career politicians who run our lives from their  ivory towers on Europe??

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Crystal ball gazing isnt a means of communication used only by Remainers....but no matter. Andrea Leadsome gets my vote for her ridiculous notion that criticism of Government policy in a democracy based on free speech is somehow unpatriotic

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

You don't need a crystal ball to see that when the undemocratic, unelected authority of the top bureaucrats in Europe is chalanged they go to their default setting of bullying as they did with Greece.

People who hold that inflated view of Britain's importance in the world are in for a shock over the coming years
