That was ages ago!  I remember the end of season promotion party in 1990, but much of the trouble there seemed to be when the police kettled the Town fans after the game on one of the streets.  

I still don't think an early kick off would make much difference, and could provoke more trouble.  The main concern might be a few idiots stopping off in Sheffield on the way and making trouble, but that can be sorted with a few spotters and decent intel.

Seem to remember there was a lot of trouble before that game in 1990. Probably accounted for the jetting afterwards.

Ficking hot day that was. Some lads tried to cool off by climbing to a higher altitude but the floodlights weren't high enough

I doubt very much that they will make general sale.  They will be gone to season ticket holders and trust members (and rightly so).

However, I do still have my stub from the Plymouth game if required

Great away day apart from the game, town fans everywhere those were the days you could just turn up without ticket.
