I also remember some charming Fulham fans spitting at Mark Lever as he was carried past them on a stretcher in the away leg. A miracle he didn't get his leg broken that day.

Utter cnts..players of that era too....cant believe the protests regards Peschididdlysolido that night....loved it when they had that Michael Jackson statue unveiled at their ground and they were made the laughing stock of football for a while.

Generally found their fans to be a decent bunch. A few flash, born again types after that bloke who owned Arabs turned up, but generally OK.

Always liked away games over there. Few jars in the 8 Bells, walk through the park, watch the boats go by, then back the same way.
