are we going to sign a couple of players............  pre--season beckons, and we really don,t seem to be strengthening much at all.  We need a new goalkeeper, centre half and striker at least.  Town really don't seem to be doing too much to entice fans old or new to BP next season.  At this level I stlill don;t think we would get better than Shaun Pearson but hey ho that is history now.  Come on Town, give us something to get excited about for the new season.  I have faith in Slade and Wilko, however, I fear our playing budget will see us mid-table again next season, and all the noises coming out of BP appear to be about consolidation, rather than challenging for promotion.  That said , can,t wait for kick off as summer sport is pants to say the least.

Well I read on Twitter this morning that Slade has missed out on several top targets including Adam Chicksen.

I think a few people know that there's a couple of players who have agreed to sign it's just a case of waiting for them to return from holidays before announcing them. The ball should start rolling from next week.

I have been told, off a friend of a very good striker, that Town held talks with him. I wont name him as nobody would believe it, but if he was top of the list and we settle on players half way down that list, I think people will be very happy...

I saw a photo of Slades at a service station yesterday. What was he doing at a service station? Does he really think he's got time to go for a piss when there's signings to be made? This sort of half arsed attitude makes my blood boil, it really does.

This is real life management mate. Not champ manager etc.
All the real deals are done in service stations and travel lodges.
If Russ has been seen at a service station expect a signing soon

Its just annoying that other clubs are so pro-active in their approach to building a squad and we appear so reactive.  You know things are very steady when McKeown states he is going nowhere, hoping fans are pleased with this. I don't think it would be out of the question at all to be up there challenging next season, with a few decent aquisitions.  The people  / fans that moan when season ticket holders ask for a bit of squad strengthening are probably the same people that think Jeremy Corbyn will give us all a safe and properous future !!!
