Probably moosey.  Whilst the imp players were singing we hate grimsby Nathan was nowhere to be seen.  When lincoln won the league Nathan was nowhere to be seen once a mariner always a mariner.

Yeah he's fine.  Although i have no idea whats going on as he hasn't been officially released.  The Cowleys claim they are waiting for the FA enquiry to finish.  But the FA told brad there is nothing to investigate.  The drink driving was a stupid thing to do and people claiming he was driving when banned but actually he appealed it meaning he could still drive.  Obviously the appeal failed.

Yes Forza he was but were only human and im sure there isnt 1 person that hasn't made a mistake.  Ive made a few just didnt get caught.  I just hope he gets a club if lincoln release him as he cant drive not sure how he's going to get to places.   Anyway back to topic still to this day not sure why Nathan got released he was my favourite town player.  I hope he's ok.  Its going to be weird seeing him play against town for the gimps.

Anxiety isn't something to just brush under the carpet or joke about

If this is true about Nathan, I hope he is getting help. I seem to remember it took him a long time to get over the death of his mother a while back. Best wishes Nathan.

My recollection is that Nathan was not 'released' in the sense that he was 'discarded' by Paul Hurst. Wasn't he offered a new contract but declined to accept it within the time frame specified by the club? I stand to be corrected if my memory is failing me!
However, I wholeheartedly agree that anxiety and depression are not subjects to be ridiculed on here or anywhere else.

I've suffered with anxiety and panic attacks most of my life for what it's worth.

Read the post more carefully meza. There is another issue ,separate o the drink driving, which I will WAGER may be more of an impediment to his future employment in football

And if you read mine Forza i said that the FA told Brad there was nothing to investigate.  Now he could be lying   but i have no reason not to believe him.

If this us true then definitely wish Nath all the best, mental health issues can be really difficult to overcome, but there is help out there.

Anxiety isn't something you 'come over' I'm afraid. Luckily their are tablets prescribed that can help support your mood swings and anxiety but they don't make you supper happy and excrement..

It's probs started when his mother passed away, sometimes things trigger it if and it looks as if this in my opinion may have done it.

Interesting read, hope he gets the help he needs.  It must be hard for a footballer in the summer with nothing to do but sit and think.  At least during the season there is a task in hand to think about.

Wish Nathan the very best, like many people he has his demons to fight. Perhaps, this may explain his up and down performance levels at Town (x's expected). Football is not all about ability, quite the opposite. People see a player who is clearly talented and question why he isn't being selected or has been released. Sometimes there is more to it than the ability to turn a full back inside out, etc. Some players are great on the ball, or of the ball, or both. Some are great on the ball, off the ball, physically imposing, physically big and mentally strong enough to get through and excel in a very competitive industry.
