Said he'd love to come back in a few years time

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

Well he's hardly going to put on Twitter "yes I'm signing tomorrow" you name me a single player who does that?

Having said that I can't see him signing, surely a lower championship/top end league 1 club offer him a contract?

No way will any sane man play for a 10th of the money he can get from another club,

When he is at the end of his career he might come back for a season or two,

BUT

If we are a championship club by then we might not want him,

That's life, all the best Ryan

It's only a couple of weeks since I posted this.

Surely his ratings haven't slipped that much in a fortnight?

If he's with the same woman, he won't be buying the club.

When he was in his first year or so with with us, I was selling the £1 horse racing bets at Clee Cricket Club;
and she was monitoring how much he spent.

Didn't he give £25,000 to the youth set up ?

Must be a good deal! Going to be an interesting season there.new manager is excellent calibre, but championship is a totally different game. Mind you always thought Bennett was a decent technical footballer so could improve under that sort of regime.imho I thought he missed a trick by not moving abroad even if Norwich is one of the most continental of English clubs
