I can't really see this working because of the administrative costs, but it would be good if it does go ahead! Doesn't affect us much in L2 but last year in the NL it was a nightmare trying to buy advance tickets because of the TV/FAT games.

Corbyn reminds me of Viv Nicholson.
He gets in and the country will find itself in the same position as her 👎🏻

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

There is a major flaw in your plan Rob. It involves Labour getting into power.

And of course, as someone who believes football should be for the many and not the few,  I presume Jeremy is a season ticket,  attend every game supporter. Otherwise him going to Wembley would make him a bit of a hypocrite wouldn't it ???

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

At least Corbyn is coming up with ideas,  May looks more clueless every day, We have a choice with more cuts and austerity from one side and investment and hope on the other,

Tell you what.
Being as its close season, let's just come on here and slag off May/Corbyn etc et fcuking cetera.
For what it's worth. I do think May is clueless.   But she's been handed the country on a plate by a totally sh1te opposition. Nobody in politics (including the IRA sympathiser) actually are prepared to unite to save the country. If ALL parties spent more time concentrating on improving their own party instead of just rubbishing every single idea from other parties there might, just MIGHT be some girl private worth electing.

Rob, any chance of putting a post on about how Brexit may affect our football teams,
then we can have a 45 page thread on Labour v Conservative !!  FFS

The general cost and standard of trains in this country is scandalous.

Last year we booked a few first class tickets for trains in Italy that were incredibly cheap and virtually brand new carriages. We've just booked 2 flexible first class singles from Lisbon to Faro for €76. Similer journey to something like London to York which would be £466 here to travel on a knackered old train with a prepacked sandwich.

Well the Bosman ruling was forced on football by the EU if my memory serves me right , before that we seemed to have loyal footballers earning a lot less but staying at the same club for years , maybe us being outside of the EU could change things back how they was ?

What an awful policy, less money would be flowing for the genuine and hardworking railway staff that don't have it exactly easy right now. The real policy on football would be to chase the chairmens/Presidents and attempt to lower the regulation on ticket prices.

Corbyn is all talk, says he's going to do things that require a lot of funding but you have to wonder where it is going to come from. Just think about the financial mess the country was in last one labour was in power.

Don't get me wrong I strongly disagree with some of the conservatives polices, sin as the health and social care polices but at least they're realistic.

Corbyn is in a world of his own and just says what the public want to hear.

I'll be extremely disappointed of labour is elected in Grimsby again. Hope Melanie's off. Would be a hugely backwards move imo.

I want football to be fairer to fans but I don't think corbyn has thought this through and there are better more realistic ways of going about it.

Hate to have a rant about politics on a football forum but ull get it out of the way now.

I don't trust any politician fully and I'm fed up of all.l of their election campaigns. Am I the only one that's noticed they spend all their time saying why we shouldn't vote for opposition parties instead of why we should vote for them. All parties are equally guilty of this.

I also think celebrities and the likes should be banned from talking about their political views publicly. Let's say Hardy Styles tweets saying he's voting for labour because they're against brexit - Harry Styles' fans will vote for labour because he does instead of engaging their own brains.

Anyway, no matter what system they introduce to make football fairer for fans, greedy premier league clubs and the FA/EFL will find some way around round it. For example; if clubs are told to put aside 5% of their turnover back towards making tickets cheaper for fans, they'd just increase ticket prices by 5% to cover it.

Apologies for any spelling/grammar errors, I always seem incapable of typing on my phone.

I just have no idea why we are having this stupid election. We had one two years ago and there was meant to be one in three years time.  It will be the 7th ballot paper I will have filled in in the last 3 years - it's absolutely crazy. I elect and pay politicians to make decisions not keep coming back to me to make decisions for them. I genuinely just want it over and done with.
