It's John Rooney, currently at Guiseley who's Wayne's brother. AFAIK Adam is no relation to Wayne.

Is AFAIK some kind of honour or knighthood? Can't say I can remember Adam Rooney making any outstanding contribution to the game.

I wonder how such a talent ( if, indeed, he is) went unnoticed between leaving Dundee United at 15 and joining the Nike Academy much more recently. Just curious!

He had championship clubs looking at him and was asked by Huddersfield to come for a trail but he got a bad injury in January which put a stop to that.
